5 Travel Destinations

This seems to be the time of the year when we all start to plan a getaway for the summer time. I travelled plenty when I was younger but over the last few years my anxiety has taken over and I’m only slowly getting back into going on airplanes and wanting to go away. I’ve combined a list of places I have been and also places I would love to go if I ever pluck up the courage! So here’s 5 travel destinations which may be of interest to you.

The Algarve – Portugal has been like my second home since I was little. I went there almost every year with my family and always really enjoyed it. If you’re looking for sunshine, beautiful beaches and waterparks then this is the place for you. There’s spots in the algarve which are quiet and peaceful, there’s also places which are lively with plenty of nightlife. Anywhere with a beach is a win for me!

Greece – This is quite broad as I know Greece is quite a large country but it has always been a place that I would love to visit. Unfortunately with it being a 4 hour flight it’s not possible at the moment but hopefully one day it will be. The water looks to be so crystal clear with white sandy beaches. There’s stunning architecture and caves, which I can only believe to be breathtaking to visit in person. Holiday’s to Greece seem to always be on offer in the travel agencies if it’s somewhere you’re interested in.

Center Parcs – I’ve been to Center Parcs in the UK twice now and I absolutely love it. Both times I went with my family and we luckily got fantastic weather. It is a holiday which allows you to step away from life and bring yourself back to nature. No cars are aloud to drive around, you have to either hire a bike or walk. There’s plenty of activities to try out and the houses are really lovely. If you’re an outdoors person and like an adventurous, active holiday then I’d definitely recommend Center Parcs. There are Center Parcs all over the Uk and also in different locations throughout Europe. This summer I’m going to a Center Parcs in France and I can not wait! You can find the Center Parcs Website here.

London – If you’re looking for a busy city break with lots of sightseeing and shopping then London is definitely for you. There’s so many things to see in London like Buckingham Palace, The London eye, Madame Tussauds (blog post about it here) and plenty more. If you are a Harry Potter fan then The Warner Bros Studio is worth a visit. You can see my post about my previous trip to London here.

Iceland – This is a new place which I have an interest in visiting. With large outdoor Geothermal pools and sightings of the Northern lights, Iceland seems to be a place like no other. There’s an opportunity for skiing in parts of Iceland while in others there’s active volcanoes. The scenery looks spectacular, I’m sure it would be a once in a lifetime trip.

There are so many beautiful places in the world and if you can get a chance to visit any of them then take it while you can! I think we all need a break every now and again. If you have visited any of the places listed above let me know about your experience in the comments. Also if there is anywhere you would love to visit or if you have had an unbelievable holiday I would love to hear about it. If you would like any more information on Center Parcs, London or the Algarve feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer any questions. I’m no expert but always happy to try and help.

I hope you’re having a lovely day,
